Owner, Camilo Reyes began his career in the agriculture industry in 1997 when he came to the United States from Uruguay as an exchange student through the University of Minnesota. Camilo started out by working in the growing range at Linder's Greenhouses and, after one year, traveled to Australia to further expand his knowledge in the greenhouse industry. Here he learned about growing perennials, bulbs, cut flowers as well as greenhouse construction and irrigation. After two years he returned to the States to pursue his career at Linder's Greenhouses where he worked his way up to Operations Manager for the Flower Mart Division where he worked until they closed their doors in 2013.
In 2014, Garden City was born and the first flower mart opened in 2015 at the Rosedale Mall. After much hard work, dedication and support from the community we've expanded to nine locations in 2021.
